Notes on Procrastination

Research Topic: Procrastination

Research Question: What can I do to prevent my procrastination? (2 April, 11AM)

Definition- In psychology, procrastination refers to the act of replacing high-priority actions with tasks of lower priority, or doing something from which one derives enjoyment, and thus putting off important tasks to a later time.

Answer Question: One thing that can prevent procrastination is completing your assigned tasks and assignments right when you receive them. Do not wait until the last minute to do it. Doing so will cause stress and make it more difficult to complete everything perfectly.

In order to prevent procrastination one must be motivated!

-Motivation is a term that refers to a process that elicits, controls, and sustains certain behaviors. Motivation is a group of phenomena which affect the nature of an individual's behaviour, the strength of the behaviour, and the persistence of the behavior.

    This site is pretty funny, it tells it like it is. When I have problems procrastinating, it is usually because of the internet. I hope this helps :)
